ONE WEEK BEFORE THE ELECTION
USE A DROP BOX OR DELIVER TO THE VOTER REGISTRATION OFFICE
TO ENSURE YOUR BALLOT IS COUNTED
Five secure drop boxes for mail ballots should be available for Lehigh County residents, one in each of the County Commissioner Districts. Each drop box location will be monitored via electronic surveillance. All locations will have drop boxes inside the building and will be available for use during normal municipal business hours.
BEFORE DROPPING OFF YOUR BALLOT — MAKE SURE YOUR VOTE COUNTS!
IN ORDER FOR YOUR BALLOT TO BE COUNTED YOU MUST:
►USE BOTH ENVELOPES After filling out your ballot — place ballot in the yellow secrecy envelope. Seal it. Make no marks on the inner envelope. Place this in the outer envelope that is addressed.
►OUTER ENVELOPE MUST BE SIGNED & DATED Sign, where indicated, on the lower left of the back of the envelope, use the date you are signing. Seal the envelope.
►RETURN ONLY YOUR OWN BALLOT This is the law. Ballot Drop Boxes are monitored by camera. Exception: See “Third Party Ballot Delivery” for instructions and Certificate of Designated Agent Form, available in English and Spanish.
Your Lehigh County Ballot should only be returned only to a Lehigh County Drop Box.
